Miss LaCross, Mr. Franks united in holy matrimony

Miss Sadie Ann LaCross and Mr. Zachary James Franks were united in marriage on Saturday, March 25, 2023, during a beautiful ceremony at the Royal Ridge Barn in Royal, Arkansas, with Brother Kevin West officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Stephanie Renken of Lubbock, Texas, and Andrew LaCross of Phoenix, New York.
The groom is the son of Shannon Fontenot of St. Landry and the late James Franks.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Evan LaCross.
The bride wore a floor-length, ivory-colored gown featuring long sheer sleeves and deep v neckline accented with embroidery detailing throughout. She carried a bouquet of dusty blue and white roses accented with dusty blue and white baby’s breath.
Destri Leger of Sylva, North Carolina, served her sister as maid of honor for the special occasion, and Courtney Prudhomme of St. Landry, sister-in-law of the bride, served as matron of honor. They each wore floor-length gowns in dusty blue.
Bridesmaids were Kristy Fontenot of Port Barre, Chelsea Soileau of Lafayette, Brittany Lafleur of Bayou Chicot and Abby Soileau of Alexandria. They were attired identically to the maid and matron of honor.
Zac Lee of Ville Platte served as best man for the ceremony.
Groomsmen were Hunter Lee and Keegan Blood, both of Pine Prairie, Lane Barrett of Vidrine, Lathan Prudhomme of St. Landry and Matthew Lafleur of Bayou Chicot.
Flower girls were Adalyn Lafleur and Amelia Prudhomme.
Ring bearers were Dayson Breaux and Braxton Prudhomme.
Ushers were Aydan Prudhomme, Jayland Duplechin and Dalton Duplechin.
Mini bride was Zia Leger.
The bride’s mother wore a dusty blue gown, while the groom’s mother selected a navy blue gown.
A reception immediately followed at the venue.
The couple will take a wedding trip to Yellowstone in May and have made their home in Ville Platte.
