By: TONY MARKS LSN Sports Editor OBERLIN - Inclement weather moved Oberlin’s season opener against Pine Prairie to Saturday morning at 10 a.m. The move meant playing through warm, muggy conditions which led to multiple players on both sides dealing with cramping issues.

Week 2 growth headlines Friday slate

By: RHETT MANUEL Sports Editor Week 1 was a mixed bag for Evangeline Parish teams. With the weather wreaking havoc over every game in Evangeline Parish and most of the state, delays and cancellations took the lead of the storylines to open the 2022 season.

Tee Cotton Bowl: More than just a game

By: TONY MARKS Editor The Tee Cotton Bowl has always been played for a higher purpose. By doing so, it has earned the attention of Steve Sabol, Tony Dungy, and countless other prominent figures in football. The game also earned the blessing from Pope John Paul II.
