Bearcats host Gueydan

By: RHETT MANUEL Sports Editor BASILE – Now that’s more like it. After being held in check two weeks ago in a 13-7 loss to Sacred Heart, Basile rebounded in a big way last week against Elton in the Battle on the Bayou.

By: RHETT MANUEL Sports Editor ELTON - Basile senior running backs Ashton Deaville and Horace Edwards took over Friday’s Battle of the Bayou against Elton, combining for 322 of Basile’s 369 rushing yards and scoring all the team’s touchdowns in the Bearcats’ 35-21 win Friday night.
