Lady Panthers overwhelm SJ-P, improve to 12-4

By: RHETT MANUEL Sports Editor PLAUCHEVILLE – It’s lining up to be a special year for the Pine Prairie Lady Panthers. The Lady Panthers ran up their overall record to 12-4 this season with a 16-0 win in three innings over St. Joseph’s-Plaucheville behind another sterling Ava Kordish performance.

By: RHETT MANUEL Sports Editor VILLE PLATTE – The Sacred Heart Lady Trojans have been up-and-down all season. When they’ve been at their best, they’ve been an offensive machine capable of cranking out 10 runs per game. When they’ve been down, it’s because their bats have let them down.

By: TONY MARKS LSN Sports Editor PINE PRAIRIE - A seven-run fifth inning lifted the Pine Prairie softball team to a 7-1 win over Oakdale on Wednesday, March 8. Ava Kordish recorded the win as she pitched all seven innings and only allowed one earned run on three hits.

Port Allen overwhelms VPHS to advance
