Coach Marion Fruge dies

By: DARREL LEJEUNE LSN Editor EUNICE - Marion Fruge, who served as the Basile Bearcats’ head football coach and athletic director for four school sessions (1984 - 1988), passed away last week at age 89.

Medical professionals from across the community came together on Thursday, May 22, as Healthworks Rehab LLC, in Ville Platte, again hosted the high school athletic physicals for Ville Platte, Mamou, Pine Prairie, and Sacred Heart.
