Dear Editor,
I write this letter to extend a sincere “Thank You” to Sheriff Charles Guillory, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Department, and especially to Deputy Tyla Godeaux for their effort in locating my stolen 4-wheeler within a week after I was burglarized.
After providing Deputy Godeaux with photographs of my 4-wheeler and it’s serial number, Deputy Godeaux, while off duty with his family, happened to observe a similar vehicle in the Point Blue community. He immediately went hone and switched vehicles to his patrol unit and followed through with his investigation where he located my stolen 4-wheeler. The 4-wheeler didn’t look the same as the day it was stolen as it had been completely stripped of everything, every rack, gun case, and even the ignition switch removed,
I am sincerely grateful to Deputy Godeaux, Sheriff Charles Guillory, and the entire staff at the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for their excellent work. Thanks for a job well done.
