Campaign announcement: Fontenot announces bid for District 1 police juror

I, Camille LaFleur Fontenot, am your candidate for Police Jury in Ward 1 District 1 of Evangeline Parish in the October 2019 election.
I am married to Jean Randall Fontenot and we are the parents of two daughters, Mary Beth and Alice Frances and the grandparents of four.
Randy and I are life long residents of Evangeline Parish. My parents were James LaFleur and Hazel Soileau LaFleur and my in-laws were Benny Fontenot and Gussie Demoruelle Fontenot.
I am a retired educator of Evangeline Parish where I worked in the public school system and at the Vocational Tech. College for a total of 36 years.
I also served Ville Platte and Evangeline Parish as the Director of the Chamber of Commerce and Evangeline Tourism for 12 years.
I now work as an outreach person for Hotel Cazan in Mamou and I am a substitute teacher in local parish schools.
My love for our parish is deep and strong.
I look forward to working with you to bring Evangeline Parish moving forward and becoming the best it can be.
