MPD issues Mardi Gras reminder

Mamou Police Department wants to advise and remind that no unauthorized motorized vehicle including, but not limited to off-road vehicles, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, gulf carts, ATV’s, and other all-terrain vehicles will be permitted on any public roadways, streets, highways, or ally ways in the town of mamou during the Mamou Mardi Gras Festivities. No unauthorized motorized vehicles including, but not limited to off-road vehicles, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, gulf carts, ATV’s or other all-terrain vehicles will be permitted on any public road way, street in any of the Mamou parades during the Mamou Mardi Gras festivities. We want everyone to enjoy themselves at our upcoming festive and have a safe time. Anyone in violation will be cited and the vehicle will be subject to tow.
