Rotary hears from former MSU athlete, presents scholarship

Rotarian Larry Lachney welcomed his cousin Barney Bridges as the guest speaker for the July 27, meeting of the Ville Platte Rotary Club. Bridges is a former baseball player and coach at McNeese State University in Lake Charles. He shared several stories of his years as a player and coach at McNeese and said he is very proud of his grandsons who played baseball at LSUE. He added he coached his son…
