On 10-15-23, Detectives with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office received information to look into possible inappropriate behavior involving a 14-year-old juvenile female.
On February 20,2024, while conducting criminal patrol in the town of Mamou, Narcotic Agents observed a vehicle traveling South on Railroad Ave fail to utilized turning signals on a left turn.
A suspect wanted in connection with an attempted murder in Mamou was arrested by the Mamou Police Department on February 19.
