Toussaint announces bid for Ville Platte city marshal in April

Adam Joseph Toussaint of St. Joseph Baptist Church in Chataignier has announced his candidacy for Ville Platte City Marshal.
“I, Adam Joseph Toussaint, would like to announce my intent to qualify for City Marshal in Ward 1 in January 2020,” Toussaint said in his announcement.
“ I am the son of Joycie Toussaint Jack and Carlton Jack. I have one son, Adonis Collins (18) of Abilene Texas. I’ve been an active member of St. Joseph Baptist Church in Chatagnier for 10 years.
Toussaint’s announcement continued, “I am a 1995 graduate of Ville Platte High School. I am also a Southern University alumnus, where I pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management. Over the past 15 years I have served in management roles with several companies and am currently employed with Auzenne Transportation.”
“I am the Executive Director and founder of the Youth Leadership Academy of Evangeline, a nonprofit organization which mentors local youth, help underserved families and guide teenagers in personal and professional development.”
“On April 4, 2020 I humbly ask for your support in electing me as your next City Marshal of Ward 1 and to keep my family and I lifted in prayer.”
