NATCHITOCHES -- Several local athletes were able to compete at the LHSAA State Cross-Country meet held here recently.
At the meet, teams could put as many runners as they wanted in the race, but only the top six finishers from each team were counted in the final results.
Each participant in the race had to complete a three-mile course.
All of the parish teams, with the exception of Basile, had runners involved in the meet.
