VPPD to hold school supply drive

Chief of Police Neal Lartigue and the Ville Platte Police Department are hosting a school supply drive again this year. They have hosted a school supply drive for many years, and this year more than any other year, they need supplies to help students. According to Connie Lamke with the police department, some parents have lost work due to the pandemic and the teachers will be very low on supplies.
Donated supplies may be dropped off at the police department between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
