Registrar of Voters announces close of books for Dec. election

Registrar of Voters, Lucas Buller, would like to announce the close of books for the December 5, 2020 runoff election. The last day to register in person or by mail is November 4, 2020 and the last day to register online using the geauxvote.com website is November 14, 2020.
Early voting will begin Friday, November 20 and continue until Saturday, November 28. Early voting will not be conducted on Sunday, November 22, Thursday, November 26, or Friday, November, 27. Early voting will be conducted between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day.
If you need to register to vote or make changes to your registration you may do so in person at the Registrar of Voters Office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or online at geauxvote.com.
