President Trump to deliver State of the Union February 5

With the federal government running on all cylinders, even if until February 15, the speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives has handed an olive branch to President Donald Trump concerning the constitutionally mandated State of the Union Address.
Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca.) sent the president an invitation last week to deliver the address on the House floor to a joint session of Congress.
“It is my great honor to accept,” President Trump told Pelosi in a letter Monday. “We have a great story to tell and yet, great goals to achieve!”
The State of the Union Address is slated for Tuesday, February 5.
