Pre-election schools to be held

According to Evangeline Parish Clerk of Court Randy Deshotel, Louisiana state law requires pre-election courses be held for all Commissioners in Charge, Commissioners, and Alternates. These courses are mandatory before every election and all individuals chosen to work for an election must attend these pre-election courses.
The times and places for the pre-election courses are as follows:
Tuesday, June 16:
Ville Platte
Courthouse/Police Jury Meeting Room
12 noon and 6 p.m.

Wednesday, June 17:
Mamou
Celestine Center
6 p.m.

Thursday, June 18:
Pine Prairie
Civic Center
6 p.m.
Tuesday, June 23 :
Basile
City Hall
6 p.m.

Wednesday, June 24:
Ville Platte
Courthouse/Police Jury Meeting Room
12 p.m. and 6 p.m.

You may attend any one of these courses to ensure your serving as a Commissioner on Election Day, Saturday, July 11, 2020.
