On the morning of August 9th 2020, Pine Prairie Police received a complaint from a local business of what appeared to be bullet holes in the front door and window of the business. Through investigation from the business security footage, what appeared to be a dark colored pickup truck stopped in front at around 1:00 a.m Sunday August 9th. and fired several rounds from the vehicle towards the business striking the front door and walls. At this time officers are still investigating the incident and more security footage is being processed. Witnesses to the incident are also being interviewed at this time. Chief Deshotel wants to remind the community to report any suspicious activity to his office.
