This Saturday, June 10, some 140 alumni from 18 casts of the Basile Sing Out are expected to meet for a reunion to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the group’s founding. The day will include presentations by the group’s various directors from over the years, a pot luck luncheon, sing along time, and fellowship - all beginning at 9 a.m. at the J.C. Speyrer Center.
At 4 p.m. the singers and musicians will participate at Holy Mass at St. Augustine Church where they will provide the music, read from Scripture, and present the petitions. A public slide show presentation will begin at 6 p.m. with a public concert at 7 p.m. - all at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
