Mamou Police Department is currently accepting applications for the Toys for Tots program.
This program provides toys for children ages 0-12 years old who currently receive any kind of government assistance throughout Evangeline Parish. The deadline to turn in applications is Monday, November 25, 2019. The parent/guardian can pick-up an application at the Mamou Police Department at the front desk. A picture ID of the parent/guardian and proof of assistance on the children are necessary when turning in the application. Copies will be made and attached to the application by the dispatcher. We are also accepting donations of new toys or monetary donations for the Toys for Tots program, donations can be dropped off at the Mamou Police Department.
The Mamou Police Department along with The Crawfish Barn will host the Toys for Tots Night on Tuesday November 26, 2019, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Crawfish Barn. There will be some of your favorite Characters there to take pictures with. All we ask is that you give the gift of a new unwrapped toy or a monetary donation at the door to join us.
