Happy Easter to all of our patrons around the parish!
The month of April is shaping up to be a busy one. In addition to the return of all of our regular pubic programs, we will be offering the following: (1) Medicare Education Seminars at the main library on April 19 at noon & 3 p.m. and again on April 30 at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. These seminars are free, but masks will be required along with social distancing measures. They will also be available in May. (2) April is also Child Abuse Awareness Month, and we have partnered with CASA to offer a month of virtual storytelling via our Facebook page to support their efforts. The first story will be available Wednesday, April 7. Please share this good news and the Facebook video also!
Reminder that the most current information about all of the good things going on at the main library all branches can be found on our Facebook page (Evangeline library). Thanks to the recent anonymous donations of dog food, collars and toys! These items will be delivered to the Ville Platte Dog Pound. Also, surveys about the services of the main library and the branches are available. Please take a moment to let us know how we can best meet your needs. For more information call the main library @ 337-363-1369 or email evangeline_parish@yahoo.com and never forget that libraries do change lives.... even in the cloud!
