Leash law gets pulled in Turkey Creek

After tableling the matter last month, the Turkey Creek Council failed to make a motion proposing a leash law ordinance when Mayor Phillip Cavins brought up the issue again during the meeting held Tuesday, April 20.
Earlier in the meeting, Chief of Police Steven Ardoin reported the new Impala units are now road ready.
Mayor Cavins then reported a mandatory meeting was held with the police officers the day before the council meeting. “I think they’re doing a pretty good job,” he said.
