The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 11 recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Allen W. Bartie Jr., 24, 1003 Elm St., Apt 136, Mamou was arrested on June 12, 2018, for carnal knowledge of a juvenile. Bartie Jr. remains incarcerated with a bond pending.
• Roger Lee Gradney, 36, 522 East St., Apt 6, Mamou was arrested on June 8, 2018, for theft. Gradney remains incarcerated with a $5,000 bond.
• Girard James Deville, 32, 311 Bradley, Eunice was arrested on June 8, 2018, for theft of a motor vehicle, criminal damage to property, and resisting an officer. Deville remains incarcerated with a $40,000 bond.
• Joseph B. Brister, 55, 6008 Toria Dr., Alexandria, was arrested on June 9, 2018, for 1st offense of driving while intoxicated, and reckless operation. Brister was released from jail on a $1,500 bond.
• Christopher G. Messer, 28, 1009 two crow Ln., Ville Platte, was arrested on June 9, 2018, for driving while under suspension, driving while intoxicated, and no insurance. Messer was released from jail on a $1,500 bond.
• Johnathan Hebert, 26, 1130 8th St., Pine Prairie was arrested on June 9, 2018, for driving while intoxicated, and left of center. Hebert was released from jail on a $1,500 bond.
• Kaysey J. Chapman, 26, 1988 Alec St., Ville Platte., was arrested on June 8, 2018, for theft of a motor vehicle, and criminal damage to property. Chapman remains incarcerated with a $42,500 bond.
• Michael Field Sr., 56, 1907 Johnson St., Reedell, was arrested on June 12, 2018, for unauthorized entry of an inhabit dwelling, and criminal trespass. Field remains incarcerated with a $15,000 bond.
• Matthew Ryan Johnson, 29, 1085 Country Ln., Ville Platte, was arrested on June 11, 2018, for unauthorized entry of inhabited dwelling, and criminal trespassing. Johnson remains incarcerated with a $20,000 bond.
• Isaih Thomas, 17, 1850 Amazon St., Eunice, was arrested on June 11, 2018, for criminal damage to property, unauthorized use of a moveable, and resisting an officer. Thomas remains incarcerated with a $35,000 bond
• Alex Orlandus Richard, 21, 411 Rozas St., Ville Platte., was arrested on June 12, 2018, for illegal possession of stolen things. Richard remains incarcerated with a $10,000 bond.
