EPSO arrests fugitive wanted in connection with recent high speed chase

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office recently apprehended a fugitive who was wanted in connection to a high speed chase that occurred in the parish on April 9, 2018.
Ashley Denise Lamb, was arrested on May 7th when she was located during a search that was conducted at a residence located at 218 D Johnson Rd., Pitkin, La.
In a release from the EPSO, it states that during their search of the residence, “detectives located a “chop shop” operation which possessed several stolen vehicles, including ATVs and motorcycles.”
According to the release, “the vehicles were confiscated as evidence and Miss Lamb was taken into custody.” She was then booked in the parish jail and charged with resisting an officer.
Following her arrest, Lamb was released from jail on a $5,000.00 bond.
Officials said that the investigation into this matter is “ongoing and further arrests are expected in the near future.”
In the release, the EPSO also thanked the Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division for their assistance in this matter.
