The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Jerry Junior Voorhies, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested on April 30, 2021, by the Ville Platte Police Department for domestic abuse battery child endangerment law and resisting an officer. Voorhies was released on a $9,000.00 bond.
• Hykeem Richard, 18, Ville Platte, was arrested on April 30, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for illegal carrying/discharge of weapons and aggravated second degree battery. Richard was released on a $200,000.00 bond.
• Terry Arabie, 66, Eunice, was arrested on April 30, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to register and notify as a sex offender and child predator. Arabie remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Ashley Marie Edwards, 34, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 2, 2021, by the Ville Platte Police Department for aggravated battery, public intimidation and retaliation, and resisting an officer. Edwards was released on a $22,500.00 bond.
• Brianna Michelle Hudson, 26, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 4, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS II with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Husdon was released on no bond.
• Brandon Aymond, 33, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 3, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple burglary and criminal trespass. Aymond remains incarcerated on a $37,500.00 bond.
• Dakar K. Simon, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested on May 3, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for three counts of failure to appear for court. Simon was released on a $2,500.00 bond.
• Robert John Dupre, 27, Pine Prairie, was arrested on May 5, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS Schedule I, possession of CDS Schedule II, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dupre remains incarcerated on no bond.
