EPSO Arrests

The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• Dwayne Phillip Trattles, 47, Reddell, was arrested on March 23, 2021, by the Ville Platte Police Department for obscenity. Trattles was released on no bond.
• Avery Cortez Wilson, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 25, 2021, by the Ville Platte Police Department for two counts of failure to appear for court. Wilson was released on no bond.
• Kenneth Pete, 42, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 25, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for sexual battery, aggravated crime against nature, and simple rape. Pete was released on a $150,000.00 bond.
• Anthony Dwight Griffith, 45, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 27, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for desecration of graves and disturbing the peace by intoxication. Griffith remains incarcerated on a $3,500.00 bond.
• David Weston, 51, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 27, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Weston was released on a $1,000.00 bond.
• Jesus Michael Cuellar, 40, Basile, was arrested on March 27, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for aggravated flight from an officer and resisting arrest. Cuellar remains incarcerated on a $12,500.00 bond.
• Tyler J. Lasage, 24, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 28, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Lasage remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Crystal Mae Rider, 39, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 30, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Rider was released on a $1,000.00 bond.
• Steven Dwight Savoy, 33, Elton, was arrested on March 29, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Savoy remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Hailey Jack, 22, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 29, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for flight from an officer. Jack was released on a $35,000.00 bond.
• Brandon Javonta Gallow, 28, Washington, was arrested on March 29, 2021, by the Ville Platte Police Department for disturbing the peace by unlawful assembly, simple burglary, and illegal possession of stolen firearms. Gallow was released on a $49,000.00 bond.
• Kirk Joseph Reed, 45, Basile, was arrested on March 31, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS II with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of uniform CDS law in a drug free zone, monetary instrument abuse, and possession of CDS I with intent to distribute. Reed remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Jace Ryan Reed, 18, Basile, was arrested on March 31, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS II with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of uniform CDS law in a drug free zone, monetary instrument abuse, and possession of CDS I with intent to distribute. Reed remains incarcerated on a $49,000.00 bond.
• Courtney J. Ceaser, 33, Basile, was arrested on March 30, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Ceaser was released on a $450.00 bond.
• Elijah Muhammad White, 23, Mamou, was arrested on March 30, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for resisting an officer and disturbing the peace by offensive language. White was released on a $2,700.00 bond.
• Jimmy Wayne Fitzhughs, 34, Holden, was arrested on March 31, 2021, by the Ville Platte Police Department for monetary instrument abuse. Fitzhughs remains incarcerated on a $25,000.00 bond.
• Marty Randez Attle, 30, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 31, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse aggravated assault and simple criminal damage to property. Attle remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Shelby Lane Gautreaux, 28, St. Landry, was arrested on March 31, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for two counts of possession of CDS schedule II. Gautreaux remains incarcerated on a $17,500.00 bond.
• Phillip Cary Mayeux, 51, St. Landry, was arrested on March 31, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for Schedule II - prohibited acts. Mayeux remains incarcerated on a $7,500.00 bond.
• Darla Young, 51, St. Landry, was arrested on March 31, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for two counts of Possession of CDS schedule II and two counts of issuing worthless checks less than $300. Young remains incarcerated on a $16,050.00 bond.
• Steven Bailey, 52, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 31, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for issuing worthless checks less than $300. Bailey was released on a $362.25 bond.
• Joshua Lee Petrella, 31, Lafayette, was arrested on April 2, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for four counts of failure to appear for court. Petrella remains incarcerated on a $450.00 bond.
• Scott Jared Vidrine, 35, Ville Platte, was arrested on April 1, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for domestic abuse battery. Vidrine remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Tylon Thomas, 18, Ville Platte, was arrested on April 1, 2021, by the Ville Platte Police Department for theft of a motor vehicle and simple criminal damage to property. Thomas remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Carolyn Venable, 58, Breaux Bridge, was arrested on April 1, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for possession of CDS Schedule I and violation of uniform CDS law in a drug free zone. Venable was released on a $4,000.00 bond.
• Charles Todd Menier, 50, Ville Platte, was arrested on April 1, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for three counts of failure to appear for court. Menier was released on a $12,500.00 bond.
