The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:
• William LeCoq, 56, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 12, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for disturbing the peace by intoxication. LeCoq was released on no bond.
• Dalana Rene Granger, 30, Mamou, was arrested on March 15, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Granger was released on no bond.
• Chad Lewis Douget, 55, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 14, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for court. Douget was released on no bond.
• Brandon W. Freeman, 23, Ville Platte, was arrested on March 14, 2021, by the Ville Platte Police Department for domestic abuse aggravated assault and second degree cruelty to juveniles. Freeman remains incarcerated on no bond.
• Daniel Paul Carter, 34, St. Landry, was arrested on March 16, 2021, by the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office for cruelty to juveniles. Carter remains incarcerated on a $65,000.00 bond.
