I, Josh Edwards, am pleased and honored to announce my candidacy for City Marshal of the City of Ville Platte and Ward 1 in the April 4, 2020, election.
My mother is Cynthia Thomas, and my uncle is Joseph Thomas.
I am a 2012 graduate of Ville Platte High School and a 2017 graduate of Remington College where I studied criminal justice. I am also currently enlisted in the Louisiana National Guard
I have one year of experience in law enforcement with the City of Ville Platte Police Department as a jailer in 2013.
