DAV Chapter #41 hosts raffle offering the chance to win one of 30 different prizes

The Disabled American Veterans Chapter #41 has officially started selling raffle tickets for one of its biggest fundraisers yet.
For the price of just $2.00 a ticket, the public has the opportunity of winning a variety of prizes ranging from a Savage 270 rifle and scope to a gas burner painted in LSU colors.
Tickets will be on sale until May 2, 2018, and can be purchased at the following businesses: the Ville Platte Gazette, Evangeline Bank & Trust Co., Industrial Supply, A&A Quick Stop, That Nails V.P., Paul’s Meat Market, Teet’s Food Store, Euco Finance, Flat Town Hard Ware, Leroy’s Cajun Meats, Mikey’s Donuts, Ward 6 Police Juror Eric Soileau, Allen’s Barber Shop, Ville Platte Rental, Bonnes Nouvelles, Rocky Rider Collision, Cajun Crawfish Tails, “Happy” Blake’s Pharmacy, T-Boys in Mamou, Gator’s Drive Thru, Evangeline Parish Assessor’s Office through Assessor Dirk Deville, Evangeline Feed & Seed, Fred’s Lounge, Walmart, Miller Sports and Signs in Ville Platte, and Blakes Gifts.
Winning tickets will be drawn on May 3, 2018 during the DAV’s regular monthly meeting. The winners will be broadcast the following morning on KVPI.
Those selected will be able to choose from a selection of 30 different prizes. However, when an individual selects one of the 30 prizes, then that specific prize cannot be selected by any other person whose ticket was drawn. if one of the 30 prizes has already been chosen by another winner, then you will have to choose from the remain.
To claim your prize, you will be required to bring your ticket stub to the business that sponsored the prize.
For example, if a winner selects the year subscription to The Gazette, they will have to claim their prize at The Gazette office.
Any individual from out of town who wins must pay for the shipping of the prize if they choose to have it mailed to their location.
