In an effort to do my part and help improve this city and my community that I have lived in my entire life. I announce my candidacy for City Council, District D.
I was married to the late Bernadette Alfred Anderson. We are the parents of Jordan Delandro Anderson. I am a 1972 graduate of Ville Platte High School. I am a graduate of Southern University with a Bachelors Degree in Education. I taught in Evangeline Parish School System for 35 years. Education has been my life-long career. I have continued to work on a part-time basic in classroom for Evangeline Parish School Board. This experience has given me many tools that will help me serve this city.
My desire to run for this office comes from the love of this city and the need to help improve it any way I can. I want to be part of the new initiative to attract businesses in our community. Our community needs a voice at city hall that represents all the people, that make up District D. Join me to send fresh new leadership from District D to City Hall, writing a new chapter for our community.
Please elect Lionel “Coach” Anderson for City Council in 2018 Election vote #98 for new leadership. A Voice for the People, Together we can do it!
