I, Donald R. Sam, am running for re-election as Ville Platte Councilman for District E. I am married to Christina Sam and we have five beautiful kids.
I was elected 12 years ago to serve you, the people of District E and that I have done and want to continue.
I ran as a community advocate who understood the impact an engaged elected official could have on neighborhoods. I ran on a promise to work hard with other council members and the Mayor on critical issues that have an extreme impact on our city such as programs that affect jobs, our youth, our seniors, and our entire community.
My time serving as your councilman has been awesome, but most importantly I believe I have been an active and effective member, delivering on promises I made almost 12 years ago. With your support I’d like to serve you another four years. We need to continue moving forward.
