The Boggy Bayou Youth Pageant will be held Saturday, March 28, at the Pine Prairie Community Center located at 1616 Holly St.
Sunday best is for ages 0-8. Smock/Bishop style outfits are not required, and contestants will not lose points if they are not wearing smock/bishop style.
Formal wear is for ages 9-16. The entry fee is $45 which includes all side awards. Two or more children in the same household is a $40 entry fee.
All contestants are contracted. Contestants may compete for other titles, however, the only festival title they can promote is Boggy Bayou.
In each girl divisions, there will be a queen, first runner-up, and second runner-up. In boys, there will be a king, first runner-up, and second runner-up.
Side awards include photogenic, director’s choice, prettiest eyes, prettiest hair, and best fashion.
Division times are as follows:
9 a.m.- Baby Miss 0-12 months
9:30 a.m. - Baby Mister 0-12 months
10 a.m.- Toddler Miss 1 year - 23 months
10:30 a.m. Toddler Mister 2-3 years
11 a.m.- Mini Miss 2 years
11:30 a.m.- Tiny Miss 3-4 years
12 noon- Petite Miss 5-6 years
12:30 p.m.- Little Miss 7-8 years
1 p.m. Deb Miss 9-11 years
1:30 p.m. Junior Miss 12-13 years
2 p.m. Teen Miss 14-16 years
Please arrive 20 minutes before scheduled stage time to register and get contestant number. It is at the director’s decision if late and/or door entries are accepted. If late/door entries are accepted, there will be a late fee of $5 added to the entry fee.
The director holds the right to move contestants up or down in age category as she chooses if needed due to lack of contestants.
