Bass Splash is set to benefit the Sacred Heart fishing team

The first annual Sacred Heart School Fishing Team Bass Splash will take place on July 28 at Chicot State Park from safe light until 2:00 p.m.
All proceeds will be used to benefit the fishing team, and the event is hosted by the team captains and team members.
The rules are as follows:
-five fish limit per team. catch and release.
-12” minimum on all fish.
-one-pound penalty dead fish.
-measure fish close mouth and pinched tail.
-weight master has final say on all fish.
-all fish must be caught in tournament waters in tournament hours.
-in case of a tie, the team with the biggest bass wins.
Registration fee is $80.00 per boat. First place will receive $1,000.00, second place will receive $500.00, and third place will receive $250.00. All prizes are based on 50 boats or more.
Registration can be paid by cash or checks made payable to the Trojan Fishing Team.
For early registration, mail a form with payment to 1721 Warren Camp Rd., Ville Platte, LA 70586. Registration will also be open the morning of the tournament.
All participants must agree to sign a disclaimer that waives and releases tournament officials from any injury and/or damage.
