Basile High School issues 42 diplomas

Basile High School Principal Tony Bertrand awarded 42 diplomas to the Class of 2017 during commencement exercises at McFarlain Memorial Gym on Friday, May 19. Leading the class were Jeremy Bustarde, valedictorian; Emily Fusilier, salutatorian; and Kyle Bergeaux, historian. Other honor students included Daniel Bergeron, Michaela Faul,

Brenan Langley, Rheagan Ortego, and Kylie Quebedaux. The remaining graduates included McKayla Adams, Trevor Bergeaux, Emily Bertrand, Kaleb Brothers, Breana Comeaux, Gavin Cortez, Lane Darbonne, Brooke Duplichan, Bailey Fontenot, Lindsey Goins, Harley Guidry, Detrick Guillory, Landon Guillory, Dezzaray Harris, Christopher Hebert, Brandon Howard, Logan Johnson, Nick LaBauve, Tracelon Lavergne, Dagan LeJeune, Justin LeJeune, Josey Manuel, Patricia Marasigan, Caroline Martel, Alexys Miller, Rashad Murphy, RaShawn Murphy, Aliyah Sam, Francis Sias, Jazmine Sias, Jennifer Smith, Cole Sonnier, Roger Spell, and Cori Thomas.
