Members of the Ville Platte Rotary Club welcomed Mike Fruge, founder of J.T. Meleck Distillers. He is a fourth generation farmer from Branch and has been a rice and crawfish farmer since 1989. He, along with his brother, also runs a crawfish and seafood company based in Dallas, Texas. Their product is distributed throughout Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma.
