Summer Reading 2021 was a jam packed June event! Please visit our Facebook page to see the wonderful pictures of a variety of events from around the parish! The last big surprise that the Friends of the Library are bringing to our patrons in July is the fabulous “Geebo the Clown and Magician.” Performance date is Friday, July 23. He will be in Pine Prairie first then in Ville Platte. Details will follow.

Happening this week: Tuesday, June 29, the Evangeline Arts Council will meet at 5 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. On Wednesday, June 30, the Mystery Book Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. in the Multipurpose Room, and, at 4 p.m. the Teen Books & Beyond program will begin. On Thursday, July 1, the children’s program, Brilliant Butterflies, will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Children’s Room of the Main library.
Early Notice: The July 4th holiday closure dates: Main Library on Saturday, July 3, and all libraries on Monday, July 5. The July Medicare 101 programs will be offered to the public on July 6, 13, and 27 at 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. each day.
