Chief Lartigue is seeking information on the whereabouts of Abselon Herbert. Herbert is 26 years old and his last known address was on Huey P. Long Street in Ville Platte.

On June 29, 2021 at approximately 10:30 a.m. Officers and Detectives with the Ville Platte Police Department attempted to serve a search warrant in the 900 block of Edward Knotoe Jr. Street.

Ville Platte, for a city its size, has produced its fair share of players who have gone on to excel in sports.
