The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent bookings into the parish jail. Arrested were the following persons:

JENNINGS – JD Bank is pleased to announce that Lisa Fontenot-Sylvester has joined the JD Bank team as AVP Branch Manager of its Ville Platte Branch located at 1311 W. LaSalle St.

A Mamou man has been arrested for setting fire to his ex-girlfriend’s new home in Eunice.

Both Y-Not-Stops (the one in Ville Platte and the one at the Y) are closing at 7PM. You will NOT be able to get fuel because they will wrap up the pumps to protect them from damage.
