On Monday, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported a drug bust that occurred on December 11, 2017, where 430 grams of Methamphetamine were confiscated and Christopher Bolfa and James T. Wall, Jr. were arrested.
In a press release from the sheriff’s office it states, “A recent drug bust came down to just good old Community Policing, when an Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Deputy noticed a parked vehicle at an abandoned house on Sandy Street in the Wyble Subdivision.”
According to the release, the “vehicle was occupied by two unidentified male subject.”
The press release stated that a deputy “identified the passenger as Christopher Bolfa when he exited the vehicle and approached his patrol unit.”
It went on to state that “Bolfa was known to have an active warrant with the EPSO.” The driver was later identified as Wall.
According to the release, “a search of the vehicle was conducted after noticing the handle of a firearm between the driver seat and middle console near the driver, who is a known felon.”
After further investigating the matter, “both subjects were detained and arrested on multiple drug charges.”
According to the release, “the deputy located and seized 430.0 grams of Methamphetamine, 4.9 grams of Powdered Cocaine, 6.6 grams of Crack Cocaine, 5.9 grams of Marijuana, and seven suboxone strips.”
The firearm was also confiscated along with drug paraphernalia.
Wall was charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance schedule II, distribution of a schedule III, and illegal carry of a firearm by a convicted felon. His bond was set at $50,000.00 by 13th Judicial District Judge Chuck West.
Bolfa was charged with two counts of possession of a schedule II CDS, and also arrested for an outstanding warrant for failure to appear for a court hearing. Bolfa’s bond was set at $25,000.00 by Judge West.
