As another Boggy Bayou Festival draws near, it is time for the reigning Miss Queen to ceremoniously pass her torch off to her successor.

For 25-year-old Miranda Savoy, serving as 2017 Ms. Boggy Bayou was an opportunity to learn something about herself and the festival that she represents.

This year, Boggy Bayou has one of its own to headline.

“I always look forward to coming home to play and sing,” says Friday night festival entertainer Mitch Attales.

For the first time at the Boggy Bayou Festival, 92 Twenty will take the stage on Friday night and promises to entertain the crowd like no one has ever done.

Dustin Sonnier and his band will take the stage on Saturday night, April 7, from 8:30-10:30 p.m. at this year’s Boggy Bayou Festival.

Familiar and new performers are returning to the stage for this year’s Boggy Bayou Festival.

This year’s Boggy Bayou Festival carnival tickets are now on sale at Prairie Manor Nursing Home in Pine Prairie.
