Ville Platte police officers are attempting to gather information following an alleged hit-and-run incident.
Chief Neal Lartigue released the following statement on the incident: “On June 4, 2019 at approximately 9:00 p.m. two pedestrians were struck and injured while walking on East Main Street. Detectives recovered a driver’s side mirror which led them to the make and model of the suspected vehicle. Detectives are asking for information on a 2011 or 2012 Chevy Cruze that is silver in color with damages or that may have had a driver’s side mirror missing around that time.”
If you have any information or see a vehicle that matches the description, you are asked to call the Ville Platte Police Department at 363-1313. Your call will remain anonymous.
