Sheriff Eddie Soileau, of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office has released the
following:
On October 26, 2019, at approximately 0738 hours, Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office
Deputy Jonah Lirette took a report of a stolen vehicle that occurred on the 1100 block of
Bobbi Jo Road in Ville Platte. The vehicle is described as a grey, 2006 Chevrolet 1500,
Z71 bearing Louisiana License Plate number C722460. Additional details include an
aluminum tool box in the bed of the truck and a Mamou High School parking pass sticker
on the rear glass.
Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is requesting the assistance of the Public in locating
this vehicle. If anyone has information or knows the whereabout of this vehicle is asked
to contact the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigations Division at 337-363-
