Two more detained for vehicle thefts

In the course of its investigations, the Evangeline Parish Sheriff Office was able to detain a two more suspects in a rash of vehicle thefts which occurred in Reddell on Sunday, June 16.
Sheriff Eddie Soileau said in a press release, “On Friday, June 28, Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigations and Patrol Divisions teamed up with the Ville Platte City Marshal in apprehending two wanted individuals.”
The press release continued as follows: “The following individual has been arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle: Tron V. Jack Jr. (DOB January 9, 2002). Jack was booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail and later released into his guardian’s custody.”
“During the arrest of this individual, the sheriff’s office was able to apprehend Malik Charles (DOB September 9, 1999), who was also wanted.”
“Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is still in search of a black male subject identified as Jalen V. Thomas (DOB August 1, 2000). He is last known to frequent the areas of Ville Platte and Eunice.
