Following an arrest on drug charges at a business in the Village of Pine Prairie, Police Chief L.C. Deshotel issued the following press release.
“On November 2, 2019, Pine Prairie Police observed an individual at a local grocery store drop a clear plastic bag with a crystal like substance suspected to be crystal meth out of his wallet.”
“Upon making contact with the male subject, found to be Robert J Dupre of Pine Prairie, two more individual bags with the same crystal substance was located on his person. At that point Mr. Dupre was arrested and booked into the Evangeline Parish Jail for Possession of a Schedule 2 Narcotic Crystal Meth.”
