Youngsters and people of all ages will have some excitement this year.
Marty the Magician will be performing six shows during this year’s Boggy Bayou Festival.
“We are trying to find entertainment our youth will enjoy,” says Bernice Ardoin, festival president. “We discovered Marty at the recent Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals convention in Baton Rouge two years ago. He performed at our festival last year and was such a hit, we asked him to return this year with even more shows. We were amazed by his performances. We believe all ages will thoroughly enjoys his shows,” she notes.
Marty the Magician will be entertaining on both Thursday and Friday during the festival. His performance, called “Amazing Magic of Marty,” is set for 5:30-6:15 p.m. and 8:15-9 p.m. on Thursday. On Friday morning at 11 a.m., he will have a special show for the special needs individuals. Later on Friday, for festival-goers, he will entertain from 2-3 p.m. and again from 5:30-6:15 p.m. On Saturday, Marty will do a special show 10:30 - 11 a.m. for nursing home residents attending the festival, and again from 1:30-2 p.m. He will spend a total of five hours at the festival each day (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday). After his stage performance, Marty will walk around and entertain festival goers.
Coming to us from Dallas, TX, Marty is looking forward to being part of this year’s festival. Plan to take in at least one of his shows at the festival stage.
