The Mamou Police Department, with assistance from the Eunice Police Department, recovered a stolen all-terrain vehicle on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 on the Old Basile Highway.
The ATV had recently been reported stolen off of Red Fox Lane. According to Mamou Chief of Police Brent Zackery, the ATV was recovered at around 9:30 a.m. while in the process of searching for another stolen ATV.
Following the recovery of the ATV, Chief Zackery thanked the Eunice Police Department for assisting them in this matter.
Chief Zackery also asks that the public contacts the police department at (337) 468-5221 if they notice any suspicious activity taking place in the Town of Mamou or if they know of any crime that has been committed.
