The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office is in search of an individual who is a suspect in multiple burglaries and thefts.
In a release from Sheriff Eddie Soileau, it states, “One man known as Derek Craig Clark is wanted in multiple burglaries and thefts from the 1000 block of Jeremy Cole Road and 14000 block of Veterans Memorial Highway.”
According to the release the 30-year-old suspect is facing charges of two counts of burglary, one count of theft and criminal trespassing.
The sheriff’s release also stated that Clark “is said to frequent the area of Alexandria. (Rapides Parish),” and “when not in Rapides Parish, Derek (Clark) resides in Evangeline Parish at the address of 5755 Beaver Road.”
The EPSO asks anyone with information regarding Clark’s whereabouts to contact the EPSO Investigations Division at (337) 363-2161. All callers will remain anonymous. Anyone with information on any other crimes is also asked to contact the EPSO Investigations Division.
