In 1980, I began a two year course at Coreil Technical School in Ville Platte for air conditioning and refrigeration. In 1982, I began working as an independent contractor repairing air conditioners and appliances and also working as an electrician.”
In 2001, I returned to work in the oil field as an electrician and air conditioning technician. I retired from the oil field in 2017.”
“During my time off, I worked with my father-in-law operating heavy equipment, driving dump trucks, and hauling dirt, sand, and gravel.”
“From July 1981 to September 1986, I served as Councilman for District 3 in the Town of Mamou and was also on the Board of Directors of Savoy Memorial Hospital.”
“I was a founding member of the Mamou Jaycees. I was also a founding member of the Mamou Cajun Music Festival Association and remained an active member for 44 years. I have been a member of the Mamou Knights of Columbus and Woodmen of the World.”
“With the knowledge and experience that I have gained, I feel well qualified to serve as Police Juror for District 3. I have been a businessman and understand the finances necessary for the proper administration of public funds and understand the needs of the people of District 3.”
“I feel there is a great need for improvement of our drainage system and our roads in District 3. With proper administration, the needs of the district can be met.”
