New month sees arrests for drug activities

Staff Report The Evangeline Parish Sheriff Departments K-9 Unit, on Monday, August 1, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the L'anse Meg area for a traffic violation. Upon coming into contact with the driver and conducting an interview, K-9 Diego was deployed and gave a positive alert to possible narcotics.
