Things don’t get much easier for the Pine Prairie Panthers (0-4) this week when the undefeated Welsh Greyhounds come to town. The Panthers are coming off a 56-20 loss to Mamou. A game in which turnovers and penalties played a huge part in. The Panthers will look to improve on the five interceptions and 12 flags that halted 106 yards. If they can turn those things around, they have a chance to keep tonight’s game close. The flags severely hampered the play on offense as the Panthers mustered only 93 yards of total offense against the Demons.
Welsh will bring their classic wing-T offense that has produced 159 points this year and nearly 40 points per game. Their defense has allowed only six points since week one. Welsh (4-0) beat Iota 24-0 last week. Kickoff is set to happen tonight at 7 p.m.
