EUNICE -- The Ville Platte 8U softball All-Stars team did its job this weekend, clinching its spot in the upcoming World Series, scheduled to take place in Youngsville the weekend of July 16.
Meanwhile, the Ville Platte Red Hots All-Star team competed hard and left it all on the field over the weekend.
